“In Guatemala, the bite is slower than during peak season, but most days experienced crews still find a half-dozen fish or more.” – That is what some people may say about the fishery this time of year, but in reality… The Summer fishing continues to be strong.
I don’t know about other places, but our Captains have been on fire as of late. We have averaged about 20+ Sailfish raises a day.
Mixed in with the Sails are the Dorados, aka Mahi-Mahi, which have been here all year round.
One popular species this year has been the Yellowfin tuna. We have to admit that our tuna fishery has been off the charts. Not to mention the size… we do have those 40-50 lb fish, but have those days of 100+ lb fish hit the deck.
The Marlin bite continues to reign supreme as many anglers have had their bucket list fish checked off or improve on their tally.
There is still sometime left in Summer if you want to take advantage of this HOT bite. Also, Fall/Winter bookings have started to fill fast, so reserve as earliest as possible. We can be contacted via: 888-431-5556 or [email protected]
