Incentive Trip

Incentive Trip for Fastest Growing Guatemalan Pharmacy Chain

As part of a motivational program, the fastest-growing Guatemalan pharmacy chain – Farmacias Cruz Verde – organized a “Day out Fishing” with their Managerial Team.

24 top employees got the chance to experience Guatemala’s prolific fishery on board several Pacific Fins vessels.  For all, it was the first time out at sea…and the enjoyment was felt within each team and boat.

Fresh Dorado Ceviche was served on board every boat, truly demonstrating what the “catch of the day” means!  Certainly the highlight of the trip for many.

Finishing up the day, Pacific Fins’ Restaurant Area was set up for a motivational conference titled “Re-engineering your Mind.”  What a great way to finish a business trip…

Why you should consider Pacific Fins for your next corporate getaway or executive retreat:

Conservation In Mind

Conservation is Top of Mind

Representatives of the Guatemalan Sailfish Commission – Niels and Manoel – coordinated a very productive meeting between Dr. Nelson Ehrhardt – Scientific Director from the University of Miami’s School of Marine Sciences and the Guatemalan Pacific Naval Command.

The main objective discussed at this meeting is truly innovative within the realm of Conservation:

Pursue an educational alliance between University of Miami and the Guatemalan Naval Academy that will render:

-An educational platform for the Guatemalan Naval Academy to use and thus become the instructors for all Artisan Fishermen on topics relating to their work and their relationship with the environment and sustainable fishing

–  The latest and most updated curricula for the Naval Academy’s cadets

By participating directly on the educational and training programs, the message of Conservation and Sustainable fishing will be embedded in everyone’s mind for the foreseeable future.
